I request that you fill out our patient forms located on the New Patient page of this website. Please bring these forms with you to your first appointment. The paperwork provides me with general information about your and your condition.
To find out if I can help you, I ask questions and listen. Your first visit is designed for me to learn more about you, your condition, and your expectations to determine whether you are a candidate for chiropractic care.
After your consultation, I will perform a complete chiropractic examination, testing motion, muscle balance and spinal alignment. I also will give you an explanation of chiropractic and its benefits to the nervous system.
Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to for a full evaluation. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. Most people are amazed once they see their x-rays and can often immediately identify their misalignments and degeneration.
Report of Findings
Once all the information has been recorded and examinations performed, I will present you with a report of findings to answer the three most popular questions:
- Can you help me?
- What do you recommend that I do to get better?
- How much is it going to cost?
After discussing your history and your goals, examining your spine, and reviewing any x-rays or tests, I will discuss recommendations for you. If I believe I can help you, I will recommend a treatment and wellness program.
I generally provide patients with light therapy at the end of their second visit. All treatments are interactive, and we can discuss the style of adjustment most comfortable for you. Why is treatment postponed until the second visit? It is necessary to have all the pieces of your puzzle before we can “put you back together.” We do not do guess-work in our office.
